OpenAI: Two blind brothers using ChatGPT to navigate life and run their nonprofit

Bradford and Bryan Manning have spent their lives adapting to a world built for sight. Both brothers live with Stargardt disease, which has taken much of their central vision and made everyday tasks like navigating a crowded street far more difficult.

Today, they use ChatGPT to turn visual information into something they can hear, understand, and act on. It helps them navigate unfamiliar places, analyze data, keep up with email, and run Two Blind Brothers, the nonprofit they founded to support the blind community.
