Plugin4Shell affected plugin installation mechanisms in several AI coding tools. Air Security says the flaw could allow an attacker to bypass the expected plugin version and install something else.



The incident is a reminder that AI products still depend on ordinary software components and supply-chain mechanisms. Not every vulnerability involving an AI product originates in the model or its behavior.
