Hermes Bot Screen Update: Give Your AI Agent Its Own Cloud Desktop (Setup + Demo)

The video introduces a new free Hermes update called Bot Screen that lets each Hermes agent run in its own cloud-based desktop on a headless Linux gateway host, giving you a live view of the agent using a mouse, keyboard, terminal, and browser without affecting your own computer. The presenter demos issuing tasks in the terminal (e.g., visiting juliangoldie.com and theaiprofitboardroom.com) and explains how Bot Screen differs from normal background webpage reading by providing full visibility and a separate instance with saved logins, similar to Groqbot and reminiscent of Trial Marchi. Setup is more technical and involves a Docker container, but the presenter recommends asking Hermes/Opus 5.5 to generate and test the setup rather than manually running terminal commands. The system supports status/start/stop CLI commands, scheduled daily tasks, and the screen goes black after inactivity.
