I am a junior sys windows admin and have a question regarding centos 7 RAID. I acquired a server with 6TB drives that was already configured for RAID 5 through its controller. I installed the operating system and noticed that the physical volumes were combined (LVM?) mostly into /dev/mapper/centos-home. I require the standard /dev/sda sdb sdc configuration if that is even possible. I am a little confused about how to implement RAID 5 in this current configuration. To start, should I configure the RAID controller for the server? (PowerEdge 2950)
