The Chromium codebase is millions of lines long and decades old. Erik Chen, an engineer at Google, is using Gemini 4 Argon to ‘untangle’ the architecture. The model’s coding capabilities mean that multiple agents can work independently to refactor the codebase (all verified by Chromium's test suites and code reviews from engineers).
