Shipping my Chrome extension on merge, with no stored secrets

I maintain a small Chrome extension that translates text with Chrome's built-in AI. It doesn't have many users, but I update it now and then, and every update meant the same routine: bump the version, write the changelog, build, zip, sign in to the store dashboard, upload and submit.
