Looking for Sound Mixing Software Ubuntu

I'm not sure if this is the right sub for it, and if not, please redirect me!

I'm looking for software that I can use to bind different sounds to keys. I like adding ambient background noises and sound effects to the D&D games I run, and while it would not be the end of the world if I had to manually find and click tracks to play from a playlist, I would much prefer to just have an application that I could use to quickly and easily jump between tracks with a keystroke.

I tried doing some searches online, but my search terms must be bad because everything that comes up is about adjusting the volume.
