Apple's iOS 12 Now Runs on 83% of All Devices Introduced in the Last Four Years

Apple has updated the App Store support page for iOS application developers with information regarding the adoption status of the company's latest iOS 12 mobile operating system.

On the first day of the year, Apple announced that iOS 12 runs on 78 percent of all devices introduced in the last four years, as 75 percent of all supported iPhone and iPad devices are using iOS 12. The data was measured by the App Store on January 1, 2019.

According to the refreshed App Store statistics page, Apple's iOS 12 mobile operating system now runs on 83 percent of all devices introduced in the last four years and on 80 percent of all iPhone and iPad devices that support iOS 12.
