AMD has rolled out a new version of its Radeon Crimson Edition graphics driver, namely the 16.8.1 hotfix, which implements support for the producer’s new Radeon RX 460 and 470 GPUs and also adds a new Crossfire profile for F1 2016.
In addition to that, the present release resolves the low memory overclock for Radeon RX 480 cards, the application crash events encountered on some Radeon RX 480 + Crossfire configurations, as well as the low frame rate/stutter in Wolfenstein: The Old Blood on the same card.
Moreover, AMD fixes the poor Crossfire scaling in low-resolution configurations when playing The Division, the unexpected DOTA 2 low performance in AMD Crossfire mode, and the incorrect display of the Vulkan driver or API version in Radeon Settings.
