Ricoh has rolled out a new firmware package compatible with its Pentax K-70 digital camera, namely version 1.10, which will improve the unit’s overall stability and performance, and modify ISO sensitivity so that it changes during multiple exposures.
In addition to that, the present update manages to improve the compatibility between the Pentax K-70 imaging unit and the new HD PENTAX-DA 55-300mm F4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR RE lens.
When it comes to installation, first of all, make sure your camera isn’t already running newer or matching firmware, save and unzip the downloadable archive, and format an SD memory card using the Pentax unit.
Afterwards, transfer the “Fwdc234b.bin” onto the SD card’s root directory, connect a fully charged D-LI109 battery, make sure the camera is turned off, connect the memory card, and power on the device while pressing the MENU button.
