Motorola's Moto Z and Moto G4 To Get Android 7.0 Updates Next Quarter

Google released the final version of its latest Android OS about a month ago, but some time must pass until smartphone manufacturers will make updates available. A few days ago, the Android 7.0 update road map for Sony smartphones leaked and today, information for Moto devices was made available.

Droid-Life reported that Motorola's Moto Z series and Moto G4 smartphones will be receiving Android 7.0 Nougat updates sometime in the next quarter. The information is rather vague considering that a quarter stretches over three months.

This means that the Moto G4 and Moto Z smartphones will be getting Android 7.0 updates as soon as October, although that's highly unlikely. The updates might hit as late as the last month of this year.
