Microsoft Releases New Windows 10 Upgrade Tool for Organizations

Now that the free Windows 10 upgrade offer aimed at consumers is no longer available, Microsoft can safely start concentrating on ways to move organizations and enterprises to the new operating system, so the company is introducing a new tool that’s supposed to accelerate the process.

Called the “Windows Upgrade Analytics Service,” the new solution can help an organization check whether computers have the necessary hardware to handle Windows 10, while also scanning installed software to determine whether any compatibility issues can be experienced or not.

App compatibility problems are said to be one of the top reasons for many organizations that are holding back the upgrade to Windows 10 and Microsoft hopes that by offering a dedicated solution to help address this concern, the Windows 10 upgrade process would be significantly faster.
