New Custom Firmware Available from AsusWrt-Merlin - Get Version 380.62.1

Well known for its custom firmware releases, AsusWrt-Merlin has announced the availability of a new update package compatible with some of ASUS’ wireless routers, namely version 380.62.1, which updates OpenSSL version to 1.0.2j.

Even though the present release doesn’t include other changes, for those of you who want their devices to always run the latest version, first of all, make sure your router’s firmware isn’t either newer or matching this build.

Afterwards, save and unzip the appropriate archive for your device model; the developer has provided several packages targeted at ASUS’ RT-AC3100, RT-AC3200, RT-AC5300, RT-AC56, RT-AC66, RT-AC68, RT-AC87, and RT-AC88 models, as well as the RT-N66 router.
