In a statement today, Samsung confirmed that it has halted sales of the Note 7 and is working with carriers to suspend the recall program, suggesting that there’s indeed a big chance that safe units could come with defective batteries as well. “We are working with relevant regulatory bodies to investigate the recently reported cases involving the Galaxy Note7.
