OpenSSL up to 0.9.8j ASN1_STRING_print_ex denial of service

A vulnerability was found in OpenSSL up to 0.9.8j (Network Encryption Software). It has been classified as problematic. This affects the function ASN1_STRING_print_ex. Upgrading to version 0.9.6a or 0.9.8k eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published even before and not after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
