Huawei Teaser for Mate 9 Promises Great Battery Life

Huawei is preparing for the unveiling of an exciting new smartphone under the name of Mate 9. The device is set to be announced on November 3 in Munich, Germany and Huawei has released a video teaser to get consumers exciting about the phone’s arrival.

The video was posted to Huawei’s YouTube channel and it focuses on the needs of consumers in terms of battery capacity on a smartphone. It starts with an image of a battery icon indicating low power and the question “Do you hate this too?” above.

Huawei asked several smartphone users to share their concerns when it comes to battery life on their phones. One of them said he hated the moment when his phone’s battery jumps from 40% to 21% of a sudden or when the phone’s battery runs out while performing various tasks. They said recharging simply takes too long and carrying a power bank around defeats the purpose of having a mobile device.
