Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Creators Update Build 14959

Microsoft has just released Windows 10 build 14959 for users enrolled in the fast ring of the Windows Insider program, and both PCs and smartphones are getting it right now.

Since it’s just a small version bump from the previous build, it focuses on just a few changes, but it still includes some novelties that are worth a look at after installing.

For example, this new build comes with options that allow the controlling of display scaling of virtual machines on PCs, with Microsoft saying that this was a top request from insiders.

“We’ve heard your feedback that Hyper-V Virtual Machines sometimes aren’t scaled as you’d expect, so we’ve added a new Zoom option in the View menu, where you can override the default scaling and set it to 100, 125, 150 or 200 – whichever matches your preference,” Microsoft says.
