Seeing Microsoft transitioning to enterprise is not at all surprising, but there are reports that the company has tried even more than that, as it pulled lots of phones from retail stores in order to sell them to businesses. And yet, it turns out that this strategy is failing as well.
Rumors claim that Microsoft discussed with three large German companies whose names haven’t been disclosed and that were interested in purchasing a big number of Windows phones. But after placing their orders, all three decided to cancel the acquisition because of the uncertain future of the platform, especially given that Microsoft itself remains tight-lipped on everything mobile.
