Qualcomm Announces Snapdragon 835, World's Fastest Mobile Processor

Qualcomm, one of the leaders in chipset for the smartphone industry, has just announced its next-generation SoC for 2017, the Snapdragon 835.

The Snapdragon 835 chipset has been made in collaboration with Samsung Electronics, as the South Korean company provided Qualcomm with its revolutionary 10nm FinFET process.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to work closely with Qualcomm Technologies in producing the Snapdragon 835 using our 10nm FinFET technology. This collaboration is an important milestone for our foundry business as it signifies confidence in Samsung’s leading chip process technology,” said Jong Shik Yoon, executive vice president and head of foundry business, Samsung.
