Don't Install Note 7 ROMs on Previous Models, Samsung Could Limit Battery Charge

Samsung hasn't yet managed to get back all the Galaxy Note 7 it sold during the last couple of months, but it's getting very close to the 100% goal. Around 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 units were sold by the time Samsung announced the second recall, but most of them have already been returned.

In order to force too “loyal” customers to return their Galaxy Note 7 smartphones, Samsung announced that it will limit the battery charge to just 60%.

On top of that, Galaxy Note 7 still in the hands of customers will receive messages and notifications that they are to head over to the nearest Samsung store and ask for a replacement.
