A vulnerability was found in ScummVM up to 1.8.x. It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown code of the file backends/platform/sdl/posix/posix.cpp of the component URL Handler. Upgrading to version 1.9.0 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published 6 months after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
