D&D Inspired Dark Alliance Action RPG Lets You Play as Drizzt Do'Urden

Dark Alliance is the name of the new Dungeons & Dragons video game announced by Wizards of the Coast. It's the second title of Jeff Hattem's studio Tuque Games, formerly of Ubisoft and Behaviour Interactive. The developer is known for Livelock, a game released in partnership with publisher Perfect World Entertainment, makers of MMORPG Neverwinter.

According to Wizards of the Coast, Dark Alliance is a spiritual successor to the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance series featuring iconic characters created by best-selling fantasy author R.A. Salvatore. It's a third-person action RPG that combines hack-and-slash dungeon crawler with progression and loot systems of a role-playing game.
