Fake script used to keep Xbox Series X secret

Xbox Series X is the name of Microsoft's Project Scarlett console.
It's launching in Holiday 2020.
In order to keep it a secret, a fake The Game Awards 2019 script was used.
Xbox head Phil Spencer believes the minimalist design will lead to excellent limited editions.


At The Game Awards 2019, Microsoft surprised everyone by revealing the Xbox Series X. However, in order to keep this reveal a secret, the company and The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley had to take a lot of precautions. One of them was to practice with a fake script which teased some new announcement about Xbox Game Pass.
