Samsung Expected to Announce the Cause of Galaxy Note 7 Recall by Year's End

South Korean handset maker Samsung is now expected to offer in-depth details on the cause of the Galaxy Note 7 battery explosions by the end of this year.

Sources in the industry claim the company is considering all possibilities to find the real issue behind the Galaxy Note 7 recall.

While the investigation is under way, Samsung has decided to ramp up the Galaxy S7/S7 edge production to make up for the recalled Galaxy Note 7 units that should have been the main flagship on sale this holiday shopping season.

Although Samsung announced back in September that the main culprit is the battery inside the Galaxy Note 7.

However, it turned out that the batteries provided by Samsung SDI were not the only ones to explode, so the South Korean company was forced to recall the Galaxy Note 7 a second time.
