Monkey King: Hero Is Back – Mind Palace DLC Adds New Missions, Different Traps

Although it didn't amass too many favorable reviews, Monkey King: Hero Is Back is a decent game for fans of the action-adventure genre. The never-before-seen in the Chinese legend of Journey to the West is an adaptation of the 2015 Chinese CG animated movie Monkey King: Hero Is Back.

The game pits Sun Wukong, the Great Sage, newly freed after 500 years of imprisonment, with Liuer, a young boy who looks up to the Monkey King in a journey that brings them close together. Despite the lukewarm reception, THQ Nordic decided to go ahead with the initial plan and continue to release additional content for the game.

Mind Palace is the second DLC for Monkey King: Hero Is Back, and if you want to check out the new content on PC or PS4, you'll have to shell out $10 / €10. The new DLC adds a series of missions across full of adrenaline stages that are filled with gimmicks and traps that are different from those included in the main game.
