Debian 10.x is doing different things to cifs mounts then 8.x.9x

not strong on linux, been using a cifs mount from OMV for 4 years no problem. cifs server is 9.x

this is the mount command

mount -t cifs //10.55.55.2/Media /home/user/mount -o user=cifsuser

on 9.x this is what it mounts as.

on 10.x same exact mount command.

thus no one but root has write permissions, no does it indicate the extra smb permissions "+"

ok i learned i had no write permissions on any of the os's which now makes sense, i needed to create a group with a gid of 1002 and add the user to it, that worked on 9.x but it appears 10.x is not importing the acl information????

any help would be great!
