PlayStation Will Skip E3 for the Second Year in a Row

Last year Sony announced that it will not participate in E3 and we thought that it makes sense since the Japanese company didn't have anything important to announce. However, 2020 is the year of the next-generation consoles, as both Microsoft and Sony are expected to launch their new gaming consoles, the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

Surprisingly, Sony confirmed earlier today that PlayStation will skip E3 2020, GameIndustry.biz reports. It looks like the company plans to make its own event where it will reveal a bunch of new titles along with the PlayStation 5.
