I switched to Xfce from GNOME and it feels a lot more stable. It's noticeably faster even on powerful hardware. Is GNOME really that bloated? I kinda miss the smooth wayland-based touchpad gestures, but I like how efficient Xfce and "built right" it feels a lot more and I'm totally wiling to give that up. submitted by /u/Away_Usual2272 [link]...
