Western Digital has made available a new firmware package targeted at its My Cloud Personal Storage Series, namely version 2.21.126, which manages to resolve some security vulnerability related to remote access and improve Cloud connectivity with MyCloud web and applications.
To be clear about the supported devices, know that the producer has provided separate update packages developed for its My Cloud, My Cloud Mirror Gen2, and My Cloud EX2 Ultra models, as well as for the My Cloud DL2100, DL4100, EX2100, EX4100, PR2100, and PR4100 storages.
In addition to that, WD has also rolled out a new firmware package My Cloud Personal Storage (04.x), namely version 04.04.05-101, that applies the same fixes and improvements as highlighted above.
