Tactical Strategy Game Corruption 2029 Launches on PC on February 17

The Bearded Ladies, the studio behind Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, an XCOM-like strategy game launched last year, announced a brand new game that is scheduled for release no later than next week: Corruption 2029.

Despite the fact that it's a new IP, Corruption 2029 retains many of the elements of Mutant Year Zero, such as turn-based combat and stealth, tactical combat. As the name suggests, the game is set in a dystopian America in a not-so-distant future and will have players command a squad of augmented soldiers who are trying to infiltrate “an inhuman regime.”

Judging from the trailer released, Corruption 2029 is a slightly reskinned Mutant Year Zero featuring a different story. The core mechanics remain the same: cover-based combat, stealth, skills, and distinct weapons.
