Linux on 2020 macbook pro 13 inch

So! My time has come to say goodbye to my old thinkpad since it does not support two external monitors, which I desperately need for work at this point.I have always wanted to own a macbook, and since my financial situation finally let's me I am going to try the 2020 macbook pro 13 inch out. However I have some concerns regarding installing linux on it. Since a lot of internet doodling made it clear that macbooks aren't as well suited for installing linux due to how the hardware is bound the it's OS.A lot of people documented issues with the internet drivers, peripherals and the cooling. I would like not to compromise on what I believe is the base functionality when I spend more than a thousand dollars on a computer.

I would like to hear peoples experienced or opinions regarding installing a linux distro on a new macbook.
