Hi All,

I have been coming across these filesystems quite regularly both on Linux & FreeBSD:

UFS
ZFS
XFS
EXT4
BTRFS

To be honest don't know squat about UFS, and I have been told by fellow administrators that was before my time - am 30 - while I really like ZFS.

As far as the other three have seen them used rather interchangeably; XFS is default on RHEL and BTRFS is default on SUSE.

So, would it be fair comparing them or that would be absolutely pointless? Like comparing tomatoes and apples I mean..
