In this digital world where all companies want their products to have a cutting edge over others and they want faster go to market, most companies want their teams to follow Agile scrum methodology; however, we observed most teams are following Agile scrum ceremonies for the name sake only. Among all scrum ceremonies, the Sprint retrospective is the most important and most talked about ceremony but the least paid attention to. Many times, scrum masters keep doing the same canned single routine format of a retrospective, which is: what went well? What didn't go well? and What is to improve? Let us analyze what are the problems the team faces, their impact, and recommendations to overcome.
