Sorry, I got a bit lost

Hello, fellow travelers on the path,

I return, and thank you for your patience. Today, I want to share my recent progress and a few lessons I’ve picked up along the way. But first, let’s address a kind of “flu” that I think many of us catch on this journey: the flu of comparison, impatience, and rushing.

The symptoms? They’re subtle but persistent: the urge to move faster, comparing oneself to others, losing focus on the task at hand, and always looking ahead without appreciating where we are right now. I’ve fallen victim to this flu many times in my learning. I’m in recovery, I believe, and my remedy has been a lot of reflection.

Instead of focusing on what others know or what I think I lack, I’m practicing stepping back to recognize what I have. And yes, there’s always something. Our greatest asset, the present moment, is available to all of us. We can choose to use it for growth or for worry. Each of us has our own unique journey, a story that unfolds in its own time. So why rush? There’s a beauty in pacing ourselves, in valuing the challenges and struggles as they come. They may be difficult, but they’re often our greatest teachers.

So, with that said, let’s return to the reason for this post—my progress in learning CSS responsive design. Recently, I came across a wonderful guide by Josh W Comeau, by Mastery Games. It’s an engaging way to play and learn, and I highly recommend it if you want to sharpen your skills.

And with that, I’ll sign off for now. May we all continue to learn at our own pace and in good health.

Goodbye, and may there be peace in our world.
