TL;DR - This post is kind of my public journal about what I learnt to achieve my goal to become financially independent and mentally mature. I want you guys to support me and Share your advices/thoughts about this Post.

Intro

Hello Guys! I'm a Student learning AIML. But the situations at my home are dire right now so I've decided to get started with a freelance gig as I love coding, while tutoring younger kids for a small side income as well. I've decided to go with python for my freelancing journey as that is what will be important in the long term route when I'm going to go for a full scale AIML development and That's what they are teaching at my college. So while getting started for my journey I discovered about GitHub's Student Developer Pack. I applied for it and got approved next week. And as of today I actually started learning with the help of GitHub's Educational Course where they are teaching some of the really good things starting from the "Intro To Copilot".

I didn't really know anything about this Git and Stuff so it was really surprising to me that how high quality tech we do have to manage our code with GitHub. And as the beginning of this course, GitHub recommended to me know about codespaces first. This was completely different experience. Making codespaces, commiting, pushing and pulling. Seems like there's so much to learn as of right now.

I know kind of intermediate level of Python programming like... Bubble Sorting and Binary search algos and OOP as well and I've made some small projects like ToDo list and Number Guessing game, but haven't gone any deeper yet. But I am looking forward to make some really cool projects in upcoming month.

Day 1

I might like to say that today was my actual Day 1. After so much procrastination and anxiety about writing this post(to not get judged) I finally decided to get started.

So For a Day 1, I made a basic setup with portable VSCode, Python and Git on my Own Drive. Because I don't have a machine to code yet. I am learning in a Computer Class where they teach touch typing, I became good friends with an employer there and found some loopholes to get into the class for free and learn python there. So I may not get the same PC to code everytime, hence decided to make a Portable setup for myself. My parents aren't much educated as well so they have trouble understanding my goals and are kinda scared about what I'm doing as it is unknown to them. So, I want the responses of you guys to help them assure that I'm not on a unexplored or unsafe route . Though I love taking risk unlike my parents I am always open to learn anything unknown to me. I love reading those books and I'm extremely influenced by some rulers like Alexander and Kanges khan, like how influential they were even when there wasn't much media or ways to communicate with mass audience but still managed to make impacts globally. That's how mentally strong I wanna be.

Anyways, so for day 1; All I did was make a Portable setup, and learn about codespaces and GitHub in general.

I hope you guys would help me on my journey. So I'm looking forward reach to y'all. Maybe you guys as well, will some relate to me. Some might get nostalgia. Some might share same conditions me. It's always nice to meet all kinds of people, it gives us a good framework to think Out Of The Box.
