Program to replicate Autokey functionality on Wayland

Hi all:

I use Autokey on X11 to program custom text phrases and special characters not in the American English alphabet into custom keyboard shortcuts.

I used to use Wayland and would love to go back to it - but Autokey saves me so much time I won't switch back until I can find a way to do this on that platform. I've looked a number of times and haven't found any way to do this on Wayland.

Does anyone know of a way to replicate this ability on Wayland?
