I stated that Windows 10 would be my last windows OS. I don't want to upgrade my hardware for windows 11. as I feel that the system I have is fine for what I'm doing. Because of the Windows Forced popups. I have decided to move over to windows mint.
With this, I will look for ways to mount drives, Raid my Drives under Linux, and Will look in to mapping my Drives with my Synology NAS. Good luck to me and good bye windows. I currently have 24 PC's That have almost compatible hardware. and only one that will let me upgrade to wincrap 11. But alas, I'm going to all Linux machines. and Linux Mint looks to be the friendliest interface.
As a somewhat new user moving to Linux, Do you have suggestions on what to do as soon as its installed? A first things to do kinda list? Mainly for making things easy and also Securing the Systems. and Starting Apps that would be recommended to have.
