Gaming PC build for linux

Hello I want to build a gaming PC for usage with linux, my questions:

1. What gpu and cpu to choose? I know about the Nvidia issues, but almost all of the new gaming PCs have Nvidia, also does it matter what cpu I choose?

2. Should I know about other things like I might run into some kind of hardware issues, maybe refresh rate on my monitor (current is 60Hz, but I might buy a better one) or maybe there's some kind of issues with like wifi cards or whatever, I just don't want to miss something

3. What would your linux gaming PC look like?

This is my second post btw, first one was longer and way better, but got deleted by mod, because I mentioned a distro, it's crazy, I'm still mad about that.
