sorry for the completely noob questions.
ive been playing with a few Linux distros last night and today (stated with Bazzite, then tried Arch and CatchyOS) and having a lot of fun learning how they all work and integrate. im starting to dive in a bit more with customizing and trying new things, but i have an Nvidia GPU and what im struggling to find information on DSR / DLDSR. im guessing it doesnt exist specifically as there is very little information out there.
ive tried xrandr to create custom resolutions for desktop, but im getting errors and i found that you can go to xorg.conf and edit UseDID, but the conf file doesnt exist.
some threads also talk about the x nvidia server advanced configs, but i cannot find the option in the GUI.
basically what im trying to ask is if it is at all possible to use 2.25x scaling for desktop and games with an Nvidia card. if thats the case, is there a particular distro that is best? im still on CachyOS at the minute with KDE plasma, but my sound keeps disappearing so might reinstall on GNOME as that works fine.
thanks for your time
