I've switched to Linux recently. My setup is dual boot Kubuntu and Windows 10, each on separate NVMe drive. I'm planning to format the Windows drive and use a bare-minimum Windows 10 installation purely as a fallback just in case I need to run something that can't or can't easily be run on Kubuntu, but I want to keep Kubuntu as my main driver. However, each disk has 1TB storage. Given that I can easily access the Windows one from KDE's mounted devices tab, I'm thinking about using it as a location for additional files and thus avoid polluting my main Linux drive too much.
Purely from a technical perspective, are there any downsides to such an approach?
EDIT: Windows 10 disk is an NTFS partition.
