Just to open up with the problem, im planning a "fuck this shit im out".
My win 10 pc is not allowed to go to 11, Microsoft is sending damn advertisements instead as update screens to buy a new pc lol. My pc is almost 10yrs old, but hey, it does what it needs to and functions as i wish it should. But with support ending soon, id rather just put something new on it and let it continue its life without Microsoft forcing me to toss it.
However, im a bit overwhelmed with the amount of linux versions, have no clue where to even begin, let alone ever installed an operating system.
What version whould you guys recommend for someone who has never even seen someone use linux, and any other tips and tricks that might come in handy when changing operating systems?
