Any free games to recommend?

Here's the story.

Ive just installed a fresh Ubuntu on my roomates annoying Windows laptop that has been bugging her for a long time.

The thing is, she isnt very technical, and despite me telling how Linux is incredibly stable, she never did take it seriously.

Im proud of this fresh install, I installed cleanly new apps that she might "reluctantly" use, and even a rotating wallpaper of her animation films.

I now want a selection of free (if it requires Wine or Lutris or whatever, Im okay with it) games I can install on Linux. Something that is potentially addictive but not too straining on the resources.

Apart from Krita/Gimp/etc, I want to give a sort of selection of apps she might explore down the road.

As you can see, Im not a gamer, but I play the occasional mobile games. But neither is she (in fact, it might be worse for her).

Or is this a pointless endeavor, and might as well hope she notices the improvement over time?

Last time, she did not have good experience with Linux, but now I have the advantage that her Windows has reached the point of unusable sluggishness.

(She's one of those slightly superstitious ones, that once though my dual boot slowed down her Windows)
