Apple TV Brings Back Three Popular Sci-Fi Series This Summer

Dark matter continues the multiverse story in late August



The second season of Dark Matter will debut on Friday, August 28. It will launch with a single episode, followed by weekly releases until October 30. The original cast is back, including Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly. The showrunner, Blake Crouch, also co-wrote the new story for this season.

Fans of the post-apocalyptic thriller Silo can start watching season three on Friday, July 3. New episodes will drop every week until September 4. This season adapts events from the second and third books in the original novel series. Viewers will see a major flashback storyline that introduces fresh characters to the show.

The neo-noir series Sugar kicks off its second season on Friday, June 19. It will follow the standard weekly release schedule, ending on August 7. While it started as a standard detective show, the first season ended with a major twist. Colin Farrell returns to lead the cast in this Los Angeles mystery.
