Foldable iPhone Dummy Design Appears Again Through New Cases

Apple’s rumored foldable iPhone has appeared in a new wave of protective case listings from accessory maker iFunSmart, giving a closer look at the device’s possible design months before its expected launch. The listings support several earlier leaks and show how case makers are already preparing for Apple’s first foldable iPhone release in fall 2026.



French Apple site iPhoneSoft spotted the listings, while leaker Sonny Dickson had previously shared dummy units that accessory makers often use to prepare products before launch. These early accessories usually match final dimensions closely because brands need their cases ready as soon as Apple unveils a new iPhone.



Case Listings Reveal Key Design Details







The new cases show a slim foldable design with a dual rear camera setup, a raised camera module, and a separate multi-part shell built for a folding mechanism. The design also includes a cutout for the Camera Control button, but there is no visible Action button.



The listings also mention built-in N52 magnets, military-grade drop protection, and a matte translucent finish. However, the magnets inside the case do not confirm built-in MagSafe support on the foldable iPhone itself, since the case can still connect to external MagSafe accessories independently.



Current rumors suggest Apple’s foldable iPhone will feature a 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.8-inch inner display with a thin 4.5mm profile when unfolded. Reports also point to an A20 Pro chip, 12GB RAM, dual 48MP cameras, and Touch ID integrated into the side button. Apple is expected to price the device at around $2,000.
