Python 3.15 introduced virtual iterators, where iterators are now represented by two items on the stack instead of one.
Most iterable types are represented by the iterator at stack[-2] and NULL at stack[-1]. Lists and tuples are
represented by the original object (i.e. NOT an iterator) at stack[-2] with an integer index at stack[-1]. Iteration is
then handled by _PyForIter_VirtualIteratorNext and the associated _tp_iteritem
