iOS 27 Made Portrait Mode Harder to Miss in iPhone

Apple has made a small but useful Camera app change in iOS 27, and it should make switching between modes feel less confusing. In iOS 26, the Camera app could hide nearby options when users moved to a certain mode, which made features like Portrait mode easier to miss.



With iOS 27, the Camera app now keeps more mode options visible instead of showing only a limited set. According to the shared comparison, iOS 26 displayed only two modes in that view, while iOS 27 shows three modes and also gives a clear hint that more options are available.
