ublk zero-copy I/O eliminates data copying between kernel and userspace for virtual block devices. I tested three zero-copy mechanisms on Arch Linux with kernel 7.0.12 and ubdsrv 1.1, benchmarking read speeds at 15.4 GB/s through the io_uring passthrough path.
