Google Announces Pixel 11 Event One Month Before Apple’s Foldable iPhone Reveal

Google will introduce its Pixel 11 lineup at an August 12 event, giving the company a head start before Apple announces its next iPhone models in September. The launch is expected to bring four new devices, including the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.



The Pixel 11 series is expected to feature slimmer bezels, a slightly thinner body, and a cleaner all-black camera bar. Google also plans to remove 128GB as the base storage option, with 256GB expected to become the new starting point across the lineup.



The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will likely keep a design close to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but leaks suggest it will be thinner than the previous model. The device is expected to measure around 10.1mm when folded and 4.8mm when opened, which brings it closer to the rumored thickness of Apple’s first foldable iPhone.

Google’s new Pixel phones will enter a more competitive foldable market, with Samsung also preparing new Galaxy Z Fold and Flip models before Apple joins the category with its first foldable iPhone.
