$30 billion Broadcom chip deal is Apple biggest AMP fund investment

Apple's deal with Broadcom for custom chips and radio components is worth $30 billion. It will be Apple's American Manufacturing Program's largest single-company commitment.


On Monday, chip maker , Apple calls it a "new multi-year commitment" with Broadcom. The aim is to design and produce custom silicon components and "cutting-edge" wireless connectivity technologies for Apple's products.
