Apple Raises iCloud+ Prices in Japan, Nigeria, Türkiye, and Other Countries

Apple has raised iCloud+ subscription prices across several countries, including Japan, Nigeria, Türkiye, Egypt, New Zealand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The latest changes affect every paid storage tier in most of these markets, covering plans from 50GB to 12TB.



The new iCloud+ prices arrive during a wider series of Apple price increases across hardware and subscription services. Apple recently raised Apple Music and Apple One prices in the United States and other markets, while customers in Japan also saw higher iPhone prices.



Apple has also increased prices for some MacBook, iPad, and other hardware models following rising component and memory costs. The new iCloud+ pricing means customers in affected countries will now pay more each month for additional cloud storage, iCloud Private Relay, Hide My Email, custom email domains, and HomeKit Secure Video support.



New iCloud+ prices in affected countries



Apple has updated iCloud+ prices across eight major markets, although the size of the increase differs by country and storage plan.



Egypt



Customers in Egypt will now pay the following monthly prices:




50GB: EGP 49.99, up from EGP 39.99



200GB: EGP 179.99, up from EGP 149.99



2TB: EGP 599.99, up from EGP 499.99



6TB: EGP 1,799.99, up from EGP 1,499.99



12TB: EGP 3,599.99, up from EGP 2,999.99




Nigeria



Apple has introduced some of the largest increases in Nigeria, with several plans now costing around 50% more than before:




50GB: ₦1,300, up from ₦900



200GB: ₦4,500, up from ₦2,900



2TB: ₦14,900, up from ₦9,900



6TB: ₦39,900, up from ₦26,900



12TB: ₦66,900, up from ₦44,900




Türkiye



iCloud+ users in Türkiye will also see higher monthly charges across every storage tier:




50GB: 49.99 TL, up from 39.99 TL



200GB: 169.99 TL, up from 129.99 TL



2TB: 549.99 TL, up from 399.99 TL



6TB: 1,699.99 TL, up from 1,299.99 TL



12TB: 3,399.99 TL, up from 2,499.99 TL




Indonesia



The entry-level 50GB plan remains unchanged in Indonesia, although Apple has increased the prices of every larger storage option:




50GB: Rp15,000, unchanged



200GB: Rp59,000, up from Rp49,000



2TB: Rp199,000, up from Rp169,000



6TB: Rp599,000, up from Rp499,000



12TB: Rp1,199,000, up from Rp999,000




Japan



Apple has raised all five iCloud+ storage prices in Japan after recently increasing iPhone prices in the country:




50GB: ¥180, up from ¥150



200GB: ¥540, up from ¥450



2TB: ¥1,800, up from ¥1,500



6TB: ¥5,500, up from ¥4,500



12TB: ¥11,000, up from ¥9,000




New Zealand



Customers in New Zealand will now pay between NZ$1.99 and NZ$119.99 each month, depending on their selected storage tier:




50GB: NZ$1.99, up from NZ$1.69



200GB: NZ$5.99, up from NZ$4.99



2TB: NZ$19.99, up from NZ$16.99



6TB: NZ$59.99, up from NZ$49.99



12TB: NZ$119.99, up from NZ$99.99




Philippines



Apple has increased each iCloud+ storage plan in the Philippines, with the 12TB option now costing ₱3,990 per month:




50GB: ₱59, up from ₱49



200GB: ₱199, up from ₱179



2TB: ₱699, up from ₱599



6TB: ₱1,990, up from ₱1,790



12TB: ₱3,990, up from ₱3,590




Vietnam



Vietnamese customers will also see higher prices across the entire iCloud+ lineup:

200GB: ₫89,000, up from ₫69,000



2TB: ₫299,000, up from ₫249,000



6TB: ₫899,000, up from ₫749,000



12TB: ₫1,799,000, up from ₫1,499,000




Apple adds USD pricing in three more regions



Apple now lists Laos, Mauritius, and the Republic of Congo among the countries where customers pay for iCloud+ upgrades in US dollars. Apple says the final amount can be slightly higher because of local Value Added Tax charges.



Customers in Mauritius and the Republic of Congo will pay the same monthly prices:




50GB: $1.19



200GB: $3.49



2TB: $11.99



6TB: $34.99



12TB: $69.99




Customers in Laos will pay slightly lower prices across all five storage plans:




50GB: $0.99



200GB: $3.29



2TB: $10.99



6TB: $32.99



12TB: $64.99




The changes apply to iCloud+ plans that provide additional storage beyond the free 5GB included with every Apple Account. Customers can check their current plan and local pricing through the iCloud section in the Settings app on an iPhone or iPad.



Users who no longer need their existing storage tier can switch to a smaller plan, although they must reduce their stored data before the downgrade takes effect. Apple also allows iCloud+ storage sharing through Family Sharing, which can help families avoid paying for separate plans.
